Saturday- Came back from Camp Cuyuna (see previous post), stopped by to visit Mom and went home. Put some chili on (Zach’s request) and then went to church.
Sunday- Made Breakfast Burritos and went in to see Mom. Jeff and Zach went fishing and I stayed home to catch up on all Zach’s laundry from camp (pew!). In the evening I went to visit Mom again and catch up on her day.
Monday& Tuesday- Nothing much happened either day. I visited Mom both days at lunch but only made it up on Tuesday evening. Monday Jeff didn’t get home from work until almost 8pm.
Wednesday- Jeff and Zach were teasing each other Tuesday night about who was going to get up first in the morning. Jeff said he was going to get up early and sneak out and Zach wasn’t going to hear him. But Zach had a plan up his sleeve. Jeff woke up early Wednesday morning and couldn’t find Zach sleeping on the couch like he does so often. That’s because Zach has snuck his cot out to the garage and was sleeping next to the boat! There was no way his dad was leaving without him! They went fishing down the river in the morning and in the afternoon we went to the fair. It was very nice this year and we had a great time. After the fair we stopped by to see Mom before heading for home.
Thursday- Yesterday Wal-Mart made a wonderful meal for all the associates as part of our Associate Fun Week. Today they served leftovers and it was just as good this time around. I grabbed a plate full and went and had lunch with Mom. I surprised Zach tonight after work with a Skim and Surf I had bought clearanced. It’s like a 26′ slip and slide with a small surfboard you ride across it. Him and Brett (his friend from down the road) set it up, put water in it and slid. At one point Zach took off running and hit that surfboard, the surfboard stopped and he went sommersaulting across the plastic. I laughed so hard I about choked! Before heading to bed I walked over to see how Dad was doing.
Friday- Hard drive on my computer crashed. Tried to update on my mom’s computer but it was waaaay too slow so I gave up. Visited Mom instead.
